Yagyū, Nara

Yagyū, Nara is a quarter in the city of Nara, Nara Prefecture, Japan. The center of Yagyū is about 20 km to the east, in the direction of Mie Prefecture on Route 369, from the center of the city of Nara. In the context of tourism, Yagyū no sato also used to include neighbouring area to Yagyū-chō, which were mostly former territories of the Yagyū Han, incorporated into the city of Nara in 1957. E.g. Including, but not limited to, Yagyū-shimo-chō, Ōyagyū-chō .

Yamato-Aogaki Quasi-National Park

Yamato-Aogaki Quasi-National Park is a Quasi-National Park in northeast Nara Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1970, the park consists of one continuous area spanning the borders of the municipalities of Nara, Tenri, and Sakurai. The park encompasses Mount Miwa, Byakugō-ji, Shōryaku-ji, Enshō-ji, Kōnin-ji, Isonokami Jingū, Chōgaku-ji, Ōmiwa Jinja, and Hase-dera, as well as a number of kofun.

Jōruri-ji

Jōruri-ji is a temple of the school of Pure Land Buddhism with an historic Japanese garden located in Kizugawa, Kyoto Prefecture, in Japan. It is one of the only remaining examples of a Paradise garden of the early Heian Period. The three-storied pagoda, the main hall, the group of nine sitting Amida Nyorai statues and the group of Four Heavenly Kings are designated as National Treasures.
