Ōhara, Okayama was a town located in Aida District, Okayama, Japan. On March 31, 2005 Ōhara was merged with the towns of Mimasaka, Aida and Sakutō, the village of Higashiawakura, all from Aida District, and the town of Katsuta, from Katsuta District, to form the new city of Mimasaka. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,630 and a density of 84.99 persons per km². The total area was 54.48 km².

Miyamoto Musashi Station

Miyamoto Musashi Station (宮本武蔵駅) is on the Chizu Express line in Mimasaka, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. The station takes its name from the famous warrior Miyamoto Musashi, who (according to one theory) was born nearby. It is unattended. The station has one platform to serve the single track.

Higashiawakura, Okayama was a village located in Aida District, Okayama, Japan. On March 31, 2005 Higashiawakura was merged with the towns of Mimasaka, Aida, Ōhara and Sakutō, all from Aida District, and the town of Katsuta, from Katsuta District, to form the new city of Mimasaka. As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 1,399 and a density of 49.95 persons per km². The total area was 28.01 km².
