Nakijin Castle

Nakijin Castle is a Ryukyuan castle or fortress located in Nakijin, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It is currently in ruins. In the late 14th century, the Ryukyus consisted of three principalities: Nanzan to the south, Chūzan in the central area, and Hokuzan in the north. Nakijin was the fortress of Hokuzan. The fortress includes several sacred Utaki groves, reflecting the castle's role as a center of religious activity.

Tropical & Subtropical Arboretum

The Tropical & Subtropical Arboretum (熱帯・亜熱帯都市緑化植物園, Nettai Anettai Toshi Ryokka Shokubutsuen) is a 9-hectare arboretum and botanical garden located in the southern tip of the Okinawa Commemorative National Government Park (Ocean Expo Park) at Ishikawa 424, Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa, Japan.
