Okinawa Islands

The Okinawa Islands are an island group in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, and are the principal island group of the prefecture. The Okinawa Islands are part of the larger Ryukyu Islands group, and are located between the Amami Islands of Kagoshima Prefecture to the northeast and the Sakishima Islands of Okinawa Prefecture to the southwest. The Okinawa Islands, apart from the four main islands, contain three smaller island groups: the Kerama, Yokatsu, and Iheya-Izena island groups.

Kadena High School

Kadena High School is on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, and is administered by Department of Defense Education Activity. Opened in 1981, the school is for English-speaking American military dependents. It is run under the supervision of the Okinawa Department of Defense Dependents Schools District.

Torii Station

Torii Station is a United States Army facility located in Yomitan, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. Home to the United States Army on Okinawa, 10th Support Group, along with the 1-1 ADA (REG), 835th Trans BN, 247th MP DET, 505th QM BN, 83rd ORD BN,35th CSSB, 1st Battalion - 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), and the 58th SIG BN provide support to all other services on island. It is the main United States Army controlled garrison in the Okinawa prefecture of Japan.
