Moi International Sports Centre
The Moi International Sports Centre (abbreviated as M.I.S.C. ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, Kenya. It was built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was used to host the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards. The stadium had been closed since January 2010 for major renovations costing about Ksh. 900 million, which was funded by a grant to the Government of Kenya by the Government of China.

Thika is an industrial town in Central Province, Kenya, lying on the A2 road 40 kilometres north east of Nairobi, near the confluence of the Thika and Chania Rivers. Thika has a population of 200,000 and is growing rapidly, as is the entire greater Nairobi area. Its elevation is approximately 1,631 metres . Thika is home to the Chania Falls, 14 falls on river Athi and the Thika Falls, while Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park lies to its southeast.
