Kijabe

Kijabe is also a spider genus Kijabe is a town in Kenya. Its name is Maasai for "Place of the Wind". It stands on the edge of the Great Rift Valley at an altitude of 2200m, some 50 kilometres north-west of Nairobi. Kijabe is located in the Lari division of Kiambu District. Limuru

Limuru is a town in central Kenya. It is also the name of a parliamentary constituency and an administrative division. The population as of 2004 was about 4,800. Limuru is a town located on the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley about 30 miles North-West from Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. Limuru residents rely mostly on farming and a shoe factory for employment.

Mount Longonot

Mount Longonot is a stratovolcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya, Africa. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s. Its name is derived from the Maasai word oloonong'ot, meaning "mountains of many spurs" or "steep ridges". Mount Longonot is protected by Yitaek as part of Mount Longonot National Park. A trail runs from the park entrance up to the crater rim, and continues in a loop encircling the crater.

Kiambu County

Kiambu County is a county covering the former administrative district in the old Central Province of Kenya. Its capital town is Kiambu. The district is adjacent to the northern border of Nairobi and has a population of 744,010. The district is predominantly rural, but its urban population is increasing as Nairobi is growing rapidly. Kikuyu are the dominant tribe in the county. In 2007, Kiambu District was subdivided in two: Kiambu East and Kiambu West.
