Ol Donyo Sabuk

Ol Donyo Sabuk (in Kikuyu, Kilimambogo, Kilima Mbogo) is a mountain and an adjacent small town near Thika central Kenya. The town is located in Kyanzavi Division, Matungulu District of Machakos County The peak, height 2,145 metres, was named by Maasai pastoralists, meaning big mountain. The Swahili name, Kilima Mbogo, means Buffalo Hill or Mountain. The town stands at the border Machakos District and Thika District.

Maragua

Maragua is a town in the Central Province of Kenya. It is the capital of the Maragua District. The town is located along Thika–Sagana road just 10 km south of Murang'a. Maragua town has an urban population of 4,286 and a total population of 27,384. Norwegian-Kenyan singer Stella Mwangi was born in Maragua.

Thika District

Thika District is an administrative district in the Central Province of Kenya. Its capital town is Thika. The district is adjacent to the northeastern border of Nairobi. The district has a population of 645.713 http://www. cck. go. ke/html/final_annex1_cover_status. pdf. The district is predominantly rural, but its urban population is soaring as Nairobi is growing rapidly. Kikuyu are the dominant tribe in the district.
