Kalokol Airport
Kalokol Airport, also named Fergusons Gulf Airport, is an airport located in Kalokol, a village in the Turkana District, Rift Valley Province in northwestern Kenya, on the western shores of Lake Turkana, close to the International border with Ethiopia. By air, Kalokol airport is situated approximately 552 kilometres northwest of Nairobi International Airport, Kenya's largest civilian airport. Namoratunga
Namoratunga is an archaeoastronomical site on the west side of Lake Turkana in Kenya, believed to have been founded around 300 BC. Namoratunga II contains 19 basalt pillars, aligned with 7 star systems: Triangulum, Pleiades, Bellatrix, Aldebaran, Central Orion, Saiph, and Sirius. Namoratunga means "people of stone" in the Turkana language. Mark Lynch and L.H. Robbins discovered the site in 1978.

Central Island
Central Island, also known as Crocodile Island, is a volcanic island located in the middle of Lake Turkana in Kenya. It is also the location of Central Island National Park, which is governed by the Kenya Wildlife Service. It is composed of more than a dozen craters and cones, three of which are filled by small lakes. The two largest lakes partially fill craters up to a kilometre wide and about 80 m deep, the floors of which are near sea level.
