Bahía de los Ángeles ("Bay of the Angels") is a coastal bay on the Sea of Cortez, located along the eastern shore of the Baja California Peninsula in the state of Baja California, Mexico. The town of the same name is located at the east end of Federal Highway 12 about 42 miles (68 km) from the Parador Punta Prieta junction on Federal Highway 1.

Coronado is a volcano on Isla Coronado, in the state of Baja California, Mexico. Located in the Bahia de los Angeles (Bay of the Angels), Isla Coronado (Coronado Island, also known as “Smith Island” on some maps) is just off the eastern shoreline of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, in the Gulf of California. Misión San Francisco Borja
San Borja was a Spanish mission established in 1762 by the Jesuit Wenceslaus Linck at the Cochimí settlement of Adac, west of Bahía de los Ángeles. Before becoming a mission, the future site of San Borja served as a visita or subordinate mission station for Misión Santa Gertrudis. The construction of buildings was begun in 1759. A stone church was completed during the Dominican period, in 1801.
