Ojuela
Ojuela was a small mining settlement located northwest of the city of Durango, Durango in northern Mexico. The settlement is now a well known as a ghost town as a result of the ore being exhausted. Ojuela was established after the discovery of abandoned gold and silver mines in the area in 1598. The Ojuela Mine produced a large quantity of mineral during the last part of the 19th century.

Ojuela Bridge
The Ojuela Bridge or the Mapimi Bridge (Puente de Ojuela, Spanish name) is a suspension bridge located in Mapimí, in the Mexican state of Durango, at the site of the Ojuela Goldmine. The Ojuela Bridge was designed by William Hildenbrand and built by the firm of John A. Roebling Sons Company, New York. Completed in 1898 the bridge was restored as a tourist attraction in 1991. It has a main span of 271.5 meters and the distance between the pylons is 315.5 meters.
