It handles the national and international air traffic of the Comarca Lagunera, considering Gómez Palacio and Lerdo in the State of Durango. The management of this airport is the responsibility of Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA). The airport has grown over 25% in passengers during the last decade.

Francisco I. Madero, Coahuila

Francisco I. Madero is a city in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila. It is located at the southwestern part of the state near the Durango state border, in the economic region known as Laguna at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:25|46|31|N|103|16|23|W| | |name= }}, at a mean height of 1,100m above sea level. It serves as the municipal seat for the Francisco I. Madero Municipality, Coahuila. It is named for Revolutionary hero Francisco I.

Estadio Corona (1970)

The Estadio Corona (the name comes from the beer brand) was one of the smallest football (soccer) stadiums in Mexico having only capacity for 20,100 seats. It was located in the city of Torreón, Coahuila. This sport facility was used mostly for football games and was the home of the club Santos Laguna. This stadium did not host any FIFA World Cup games because of its limited size and facilities. In 2004 this stadium hosted several games of the Copa Libertadores.
