The Higher Technological Institute of Irapuato, popularly known as ITESI, is a public, coeducational university located in the city of Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. The ITESI offers 9 bachelor's degrees and 3 masters programs in the areas of management and social sciences and engineering. Estadio Sección XXIV is a multi-use stadium in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium for Petroleros de Salamanca. The stadium has a capacity 15,000 people and opened in 1951.

Salamanca, Guanajuato

Salamanca is a city in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. Founded January 1, 1603 as 'Villa de Salamanca' by the Viceroy Gaspar de Zuniga and Acevedo, fifth Earl of Monterrey, who was originally from Salamanca. The town was founded in the lands of Bajio, after cattle ranchers and poor farmers, a few Spaniards, and small groups of Otomi Indians who formerly occupied a village named Xidoo, already lived in the area.
