Santa Cruz de Juventino Rosas is a Mexican city located in the central east region of the state of Guanajuato. The municipality has an area of 428.64 square kilometres (1.40% of the surface of the state) and is bordered to the north by San Miguel de Allende, to the northeast by Comonfort, to the southeast by Celaya, to the south by Villagrán, and to the west by Salamanca. The municipality had a population of 65,479 inhabitants according to the 2005 census.

Salamanca is a city in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. Founded January 1, 1603 as 'Villa de Salamanca' by the Viceroy Gaspar de Zuniga and Acevedo, fifth Earl of Monterrey, who was originally from Salamanca. The town was founded in the lands of Bajio, after cattle ranchers and poor farmers, a few Spaniards, and small groups of Otomi Indians who formerly occupied a village named Xidoo, already lived in the area.

Captain Rogelio Castillo National Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Nacional Capitán Rogelio Castillo) is an airport serving Celaya, a city in the state of Guanajuato in Mexico. It is located 15 minutes away from downtown, and is mainly used for general aviation purposes. It is operated by "Patronato del Aeropuerto de Celaya", a government-owned corporation. The airport had a few flights to Ixtapa in November 2004 but the service was cancelled due to the very few people that bought tickets.
