Porullo

Porullo is a village in the state of Guanajuato, in Mexico. It is about 10 square miles in size. Located from the larger city of Yuriria. Those who were born here and live elsewhere often return every year in the month of December. Weddings and Quinceañera parties are planned around this time of the year. Porullo is visited by men from most of the neighboring villages (including El Salteador, Zapotitos, and El Puerto) because of the un-married women in the village, 16 or 17 years of age.

Casacuarán

San Pablo Casacuarán is a small town located in the southern region of the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. Commonly known just as Casacuarán, it stands on the road connecting the cities of Yuriria, Santiago Maravatio and Salvatierra. Every January the town has a celebration of San Pablo on January 25th. The celebration goes from January 18 threw the 25th with a huge prosession down main street from the top to the bottom of the town at the very end of the fiest on the 25th.

Cupareo

Cupareo is a small rural town in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, and belongs to the municipality of Salvatierra. "Cupareo" comes from the Tarascan (Purepecha) language and means "Crossroads. " Cupareo is located to the southeast part of the Yuriria lagoon. Nearby cities include Salvatierra, Yuriria, Moroleon, Uriangato, and Celaya.
