Laguna de Sayula

Laguna de Sayula ("Sayula Lake") is a lake located in the southern area of Jalisco, about 60 km from Guadalajara. It is located in the municipalities of Sayula, Zacoalco de Torres, Amacueca, Teocuitatlán de Corona, Atoyac and Techaluta de Montenegro. Barranca de Otates

Barranca de los Otates is a pueblo in Mexico. Its municipality is Zacoalco de Torres in Jalisco. This town long ago was filled with many Otates also known as Mexican weeping bamboo that were all along the canyon near the river that flows thru this small town. The plant was used to make baskets of many different sizes and are very sturdy and durable.

Brizuela, Jalisco

Atemajac de Brizuela is a small town in the southeast sierra of Jalisco, Mexico, 64 km southwest of Guadalajara, between Highways 80 and 401. Its population as of 1990 was 3,790. Atotonilco el Bajo

Atotonilco el Bajo is a town in the municipality of Villa Corona; in the Mexican state of Jalisco. According to the INEGI census of 2000: 2,255 people resided in the town. The meaning of Atotonilco comes from its Nahuatl roots: atotos which means "place", and nilco which means "strings of water".
