Monan Patera is a patera, or a complex crater with scalloped edges, on Jupiter's moon Io. It is about 113 kilometers in diameter and is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:19.72|N|105.39|W|globe:io_type:landmark_source:gpn|||| |primary |name= }}. It is named after Monan, a god in Brazilian mythology that destroyed the world with fire and floods. Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1997.
