Moroleón

Moroleón is a city located in the same name municipality of the state of Guanajuato, adjacent to the border with the state of Michoacán, in Mexico. It lies directly west of the city of Uriangato, and is a part of the Uriangato-Moroleón metropolitan area that includes the two municipalities. The city is the seat of the municipality. In the Mexican census of 2005 the city had a population of 41,909 inhabitants, while the municipality had a population of 46,751.

Uriangato is one of 46 cities in Guanajuato, located in the borderline between the states of Guanajuato and Michoacán in the region West-Center of Mexico. Porullo

Porullo is a village in the state of Guanajuato, in Mexico. It is about 10 square miles in size. Located from the larger city of Yuriria. Those who were born here and live elsewhere often return every year in the month of December. Weddings and Quinceañera parties are planned around this time of the year. Porullo is visited by men from most of the neighboring villages (including El Salteador, Zapotitos, and El Puerto) because of the un-married women in the village, 16 or 17 years of age.

Huandacareo

Huandacareo (or Guandacareo) is an archaeological zone located about 60 kilometers north of the city of Morelia, in the state of Michoacán. The site was constructed on an elevated plateau overlooking the Cuitzeo lake, some 2.46 kilometers (1.52 mi. ) from its north western shores and about two kilometers from the center of the Huandacareo town and municipality. Locally the place is better known as “The Nopalera”.

Lake Cuitzeo

Lake Cuitzeo is a lake in central part of Mexico, in the Michoacán State. It is located at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:19|56|0|N|101|5|0|W|type:waterbody_region:MX | |name= }}. It has an area of 300–400 km². The lake is astatic, and the volume and level of water in the lake fluctuates frequently. It is the second largest freshwater lake in Mexico. Lake Cuitzeo lies in an endorheic basin, which does not drain to the sea.
