Higueras is a municipality in Nuevo León, Mexico. It has an area of 600.2 square kilometers. General Zuazua (municipality)

General Zuazua, is a municipality and town of the northeastern Mexican state of Nuevo León, it is located in the north-central part of the state, in the recently called peripheral region, because of its proximity to Monterrey metropolitan area. Its name honors General Juan Zuazua Esparza, who fought in the War of Reform. The municipality is located in the historic region of the Carrizal Valley which previously was part of the Valle de las Salinas of the former New Kingdom of León.
