San Nicolás Tolentino

San Nicolas Tolentino is a municipality and town located in central San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The municipality was founded in 1614 and consists of many small towns which include La Barranca De San Joaquin, Los Morenos, Ojo de Agua, San Jose de Nogalitos, Ocampo and Santa Catarina, which is the largest town in the region. In 1827, the Municipal Presidency was established in the town of San Nicolas Tolentino.

Autódromo Potosino

The Autódromo Potosino is a half-mile paved oval located near the city of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. The track was opened in 1983 as a 0.77 miles road course. It was built by Promotodo, an enterprise owned by Michel Jourdain, Sr. , which organized the defunct Marlboro Cup, which was arguably the most important racing series in the country at that time. In 2005, after several years of not being used, the track was rebuilt as a half-mile oval to host NASCAR events.

Cerro de San Pedro

Cerro de San Pedro is a town and municipality in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí. The town started as a mining town for gold and silver. It was the founding town of the state, and its figure is prominent in the state's coat of arms. As of 2005, the population was 95.

San Luis Potosí, commonly called SLP or simply San Luis, is the capital of, and most populous city in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí. The city lies at an elevation of 1,850 meters (6,070 feet). It has an estimated population of 735,886 inhabitants in the city proper, and a population of approximately 1,021,688 in its metropolitan area which is formed with the neighbour city of Soledad and some other small townships inside the urban area.
