Escuinapa de Hidalgo

Escuinapa is a city in Escuinapa Municipality of the same name, located at the extreme southern end of the Mexican state of Sinaloa. Acaponeta

Acaponeta is a both a municipality and a town in the northern part of the Mexican state of Nayarit. The town is located at the geographical coordinates of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:22|29|47|N|105|21|34|W| | |name= }}. The population of the municipality was 34,665 in the 2005 census, living in a total area of 1,667.7 km² (643.9 sq mi). The population of the municipal seat was 18,066, the fifth-largest community in the state. The Acaponeta River flows through the town.

Teacapan Estuary

Teacapan Estuary, (Estero de Teacapán) is an estuary in Mexico, within the two provinces of Sinaloa and Nayarit. This long outlet drains two large coastal lagoons, Agua Grande Lagoon in Sinaloa on its northern end and Agua Brava Lagoon in Nayarit at its southern end, into the Pacific Ocean at its mouth, the Boca Teacapan. The estuary forms part of the border between the Escuinapa Municipality, Sinaloa, and the Tecuala Municipality of Nayarit.

Acaponeta River

The Acaponeta River is formed in the State of Durango, México. Its surface covers 5,603.9 square kilometres . From its beginning to where it penetrates Nayarit, the river takes the name Quebrada de San Bartolo, and after this point, it is called Río Acaponeta.
