Comalcalco

Comalcalco is both a modern-day city located in Comalcalco Municipality about 45 miles (60 km) northwest of Villahermosa in the Mexican state of Tabasco and a Pre-Columbian Maya archaeological site. The literal English translation of "Comalcalco" is "In the house of the comals". A comal is a pan used to prepare tortillas.

XENAC-AM

XENAC (La Voz de los Chontales – "The Voice of the Chontals") was an indigenous community radio station that broadcast in Spanish and Chontal Maya from Nacajuca in the Mexican state of Tabasco. It was run by the National Indigenist Institute (INI). It ceased broadcasting in 1990 under Governor Salvador Neme Castillo, was closed in 2000 under Governor Roberto Madrazo Pintado, and its licence was cancelled in 2001 under Governor Enrique Priego Oropeza.

Centro Municipality, Tabasco

The Municipality of Centro is one of the 17 subdivisions of the Mexican state of Tabasco. Its municipal seat is located in the city of Villahermosa. The municipality had a 2010 census population of 640,359 inhabitants, 353,577 (55.2%) of whom lived in its municipal seat, Villahermosa. The municipal government is headed by the municipal president (mayor) of Centro.
