The Roman Catholic Diocese of Laredo is a Roman Catholic diocese located in Laredo, Texas. It was founded on July 3, 2000. The San Agustin Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Laredo. James Anthony Tamayo is the current bishop of the Diocese. It covers an area of 10,905 sq. mi. and has 289,415 members. It has 52 priests, 32 deacons, 32 parishes, and 17 missions.

Veterans Field

Veterans Field is a baseball venue in Laredo, Texas. Built in 1950, the park was formerly known as West Martin Field, but the field's name was changed to honor the men and women who have served defending America in the armed forces. Home to many teams over the years, it was renovated in 2002, and now seats 5,000 with concessions and two picnic areas. Veterans Field was home to the Laredo Broncos of the United Baseball League.

Mall del Norte

Mall del Norte is a super regional shopping mall in Laredo, Texas. The mall opened in 1977 and has since been renovated in 1991, 1993 (expansion), 2007, and 2012. It is located along Interstate 35 in the city's rapidly growing retail hub of town. Mall del Norte is 1,212,515 sq ft with over 160 stores, making it the largest mall in South Texas, and one of the largest malls in Texas overall.
