Remojadas

Remojadas is a name applied to a culture, an archaeological site, as well as an artistic style that flourished on Mexico's Veracruz Gulf Coast from perhaps 100 BCE to 800 CE. The Remojadas culture is considered part of the larger Classic Veracruz culture. Further research into the Remojadas culture is "much needed". The archaeological site has remained largely unexplored since the initial investigations by Alfonso Medellin Zenil in 1949 and 1950.

Medellín is a Municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in central zone of the State of Veracruz, about 100 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 370.14 km2. The municipality of Medellín is delimited to the north by Veracruz, to the north-east by Boca del Río, to the east by Alvarado, to the south by Tlalixcoyan and to the west by Jamapa. It produces principally maize, beans, green chile, rice, watermelon, mango and pineapple.

Cotaxtla is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located 45 km from the city of Veracruz on Federal Highway 180. Major products in Cotaxtla are corn, sugar, and fruits. Tlalixcoyan (pronounced Tlah-lees-koh-yan) is a municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. Tlalixcoyan is bordered by: Alvarado, Medellín, and Cotaxtla and is on Mexican Federal Highways 180 and 190.
