The Autonomous University of Tamaulipas is a Mexican public university based in Victoria, Tamaulipas. Estadio Tamaulipas

The Estadio Tamaulipas is a football (soccer) stadium named after the state where the stadium is located. This facility has a capacity of near 25,000 seats and was built in 1966. It is located at the east coast of Mexico in the limit of the cities of Tampico and Ciudad Madero Tamaulipas; The midfield of the stadium is divided by the political limit of the two municipalities, the north half of the stadium belongs to Tampico and the south to Ciudad Madero.

Tamaulipas Institute of Higher Education

The Tamaulipas Institute of Higher Education (Spanish: Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Tamaulipas), or IEST for its acronym in Spanish, is a private university in Altamira, Tamaulipas, Mexico founded in 1974. Altamira prison brawl

The Altamira prison brawl was a deadly fight that occurred on 4 January 2012 in Altamira, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Officials from the state of Tamaulipas confirmed that 31 people were killed, with another thirteen injured. The fight started after a drug gang burst into a section of the prison where they were banned from, attacking their rival gang housed there, triggering the fight. During the altercation, the inmates used several kinds of white arms to kill their opponents.
