Omealca, Veracruz

Omealca is a municipality of the state of Veracruz in Mexico. It is also the name of the city which serves as the municipality seat. Omealca means place between two rivers in nahuatl, due to it being next to Blanco river and above a subterranean one. The city has a population of about 29,300. The population of Omealca is mostly descended from African slaves and Amerindians, with exception of a few families with European descendance.

Tezonapa

Tezonapa is a municipality located in the high mountains region in the State of Veracruz, Mexico, about 219 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 351 km2.
