National Highway 8 (NR8) is the most important highway of southeastern Burma. It connects Payagyi to Myeik. The highway is joined by National Highway 1 in Payagyi at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:17|28|27|N|96|31|39|E| | |name= }}. At Thaton, it joins National Road 85. Moe Yin Gyi Reservoir

Moe Yin Gyi Reservoir is a reservoir in the Bago Division in southern-central Burma. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:17|34|44|N|96|35|39|E| | |name= }}, north of Pyagyi and Bago. The reservoir was built in 1978 and 11 years later the area became part of the Moe Yin Gyi Reserve. The small town of Pyinbongyi lies on the western side of the lake.

Sittaung River

The Sittaung (formerly, the Sittang or Sittoung) is a river in south central Myanmar in Bago Division. The Pegu Range separates its basin from that of the Irrawaddy. The river originates at the edge of the Shan Plateau southeast of Mandalay, and flows southward to the Gulf of Martaban. Its length is 420 km and its mean annual discharge is around 50 cubic kilometers per year.
