Hsinbyume Pagoda
The Hsinbyume Pagoda (also known as Myatheindan Pagoda) is a large pagoda on the northern side of Mingun in Sagaing Region, on the western bank of the Irrawaddy River. It is approximately 10 km northwest of Mandalay and is located in the proximity of the Mingun Pahtodawgyi. The pagoda is painted white and is modeled on the physical description of the Buddhist mythological mountain, Mount Meru.

Yadanabon Zoological Gardens
The Yadanabon Zoological Gardens is a zoo in Mandalay, Myanmar. The zoo has nearly 300 animals, including tigers, leopards and elephants, and plays a major part in the conservation program for the highly threatened Burmese roofed turtle (Batagur trivittata). According to a March 2011 report by a Yangon-based news magazine, the zoo reportedly is under consideration for privatization.
