Air Bagan Flight 11

Air Bagan Flight 11 was a domestic scheduled flight in Myanmar, operated by Air Bagan from Yangon to Heho. On 25 December 2012 the aircraft operating the flight, a Fokker 100, crash landed through trees removing the wings on approach to Heho Airport. The aircraft also struck power lines on descent and came to rest on fire. The aircraft was carrying 65 passengers, of whom one was killed and 11 injured. A motorcyclist on the ground was also struck and killed.

Meiktila Institute of Economics

The Meiktila Institute of Economics, located in Meiktila, Mandalay Region, is one of three universities of economics and business in Myanmar. The institute offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and diplomas, mostly in commerce, statistics and economics. It also has a small number of graduate degree programs, including a full-time MBA and MPA program.

Inle Lake

Inle Lake is a freshwater lake located in the Nyaungshwe Township of Taunggyi District of Shan State, part of Shan Hills in Myanmar (Burma). It is the second largest lake in Myanmar with an estimated surface area of 44.9 square miles, and one of the highest at an altitude of 2,900 feet . During the dry season, the average water depth is 7 feet, with the deepest point being 12 feet, but during the rainy season this can increase by 5 feet .

Pindaya Caves

The Pindaya Caves, located next to the town of Pindaya, Shan State, Burma (Myanmar) are a Buddhist pilgrimage site and a tourist attraction located on a limestone ridge in the Myelat region. There are three "caves" on the ridge which runs north-south, but only the southern cave can be entered and explored. It is not known whether the other two penetrate for any extended distance into the hillside.
