JM Barker (Hapupu) Historic Reserve

JM Barker (Hapupu) National Historic Reserve is 33 hectares of kopi forest which was created to protect Moriori tree carvings called momori-rakau (or dendroglyphs). The reserve is located at the north-eastern end of Chatham Island, the main island in the Chatham Islands, close to Hanson Bay.
