Ji'an Yalu River Border Railway Bridge

The Ji'an Yalu River Border Railway Bridge is a single-track railway bridge that spans the Yalu River and connects the outskirts of the Chinese town of Ji'an in Jilin Province with the North Korean town of Manp'o in Chagang Province. The bridge is 589.23 meters long and its height is 16 meters. It was constructed between 1937 and July 31, 1939 by Imperial Japan which during this time controlled both Korea and northeast China (through the puppet state of Manchukuo).

Gwanggaeto Stele

The stele of Gwanggaeto the Great of Goguryeo was erected in 414 by Jangsu of Goguryeo as a memorial to his deceased father. It is one of the major primary sources extant for the history of Goguryeo, one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea, and supplies invaluable historical detail on his reign as well as insights into Goguryeo mythology.

Capital Cities and Tombs of the Ancient Koguryo Kingdom

Capital Cities and Tombs of the Ancient Koguryo Kingdom is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in and around the city of Ji'an, Jilin province, People's Republic of China. The site was designated as a cultural World Heritage Site in 2004, qualifying as such under the first five of the six criteria for cultural heritage sites. The site contains the archaeological remains of three cities, and forty identified tombs of Koguryo imperial and noble families.
