Savalen

Savalen is a lake in Hedmark country, Norway, in the municipalities Tynset and Alvdal, about 18 square kilometres. The river Sivilla, which connects Savalen and Glomma, is regulated and exploited by the Savalen hydropower station (62 MW). A tourist resort is located at the northern end of the lake, with facilities for winter sport.

Sivilla

Sivilla is a river in Hedmark county, Norway, in the municipalities Tynset and Alvdal. The river is the primary outflow of the lake Savalen, and ends up in the river Glomma. The river is regulated, and the water is bypassed and exploited by the Savalen hydropower station (62 MW).

Tronfjell

Tronfjellet or just Tron is a prominent mountain close to Alvdal, Hedmark, Norway. It lies on the border to Tynset. There is a toll road to the summit open in the summer built while installing a broadcasting antenna in the 1960s, being Norway's second highest road. The Indian philosopher Swami Sri Ananda Acharya lived on the mountain for large periods of his life.
