Hegra Station is a railway station on the Meråker Line in the village of Hegra in the municipality of Stjørdal in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The station was opened on 17 October 1881 as Hegre. It received the current name on 1 June 1919, and has been unmanned since 1 March 1971. It is served twice a day in each direction by Mittnabotåget operated by the Norwegian State Railways.

Originally known as Ingstadkleiven Fort (also Ingstadkleiva Fort), it was built between 1908–1910 as a border fort as a defence against the perceived threat of a Swedish invasion.

Værnes Air Station
Værnes Air Station is an air station of the Royal Norwegian Air Force located in Stjørdal, Norway. It is co-located with Trondheim Airport, Værnes, which is owned and operated by Avinor. As an air station, the aerodrome is primarily used for the Marine Corps Preposition Program Norway, which involves the United States armed forces stationing equipment at Værnes. The military installations contain place for up to six aircraft of the size of a C-5 Galaxy and barracks to house 1,200 soldiers.
