Halsa Church is a parish church in the municipality of Meløy in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Halsa. The church is part of the Halsa parish in the Bodø deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. West Svartisen Ice-cap
The West Svartisen Ice-cap is an ice cap glacier, occupying 201 square kilometres of the coastal area of central Norway, just inside the Arctic Circle. Most of the glacier is around 1000 metres above sea level on a high plateau. The ice-cap owes its existence to the high snowfall rates in the region, rather than the cold temperatures, similar to other glacier close by such as the Jostedalsbreen glacier.

Mesøya or Mesøy is an island in the municipality of Meløy in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located southwest of the village of Ørnes on the mainland and east of the island of Meløya. The island sits at the mouth of the Glomfjorden. Mesøya is only accessible by boat, and it has no regular ferry service. Mesøya has an area of 8 square kilometres and the highest point on the island is the 364-metre tall Mesøytoppen.
