Nevernes Church

Nevernes Church is a parish church in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Nevernes. The church is part of the Nevernes parish in the Indre Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was constructed in 1893, by the architect A. Grenstad.

Arctic Circle Raceway

Arctic Circle Raceway is the biggest race track in Norway. It is 30 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle and 25 kilometres north of Mo I Rana. The track was opened in 1995. The racetrack price was $10 million. The racetrack is custom built for road racing, and it also has the possibility for 24 hour racing in full daylight because of the midnight sun. It's the furthest North race track in the world, and one of the only which is actually in the arctic circle.

Raudvatnet

Raudvatnet (English: the red lake) is a lake in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. The European route E12 highway between Mo i Rana and Sweden passes along the northern and eastern shores of the lake. A Red cross hut (Rauvasshytta) is located east of Raudvatnet. Water flows into the lake Raudvatnet primarily from the nearby lake Tverrvatnet to the south. From Raudvatnet, the water flows into the river Tverråga, a tributary to the main river Ranelva.

Tverrvatnet

Tverrvatnet or Tvervatnet [tvær'vatne tvær'vatne] is a lake in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. The European route E12 highway between Mo i Rana and Sweden passes along the northern and eastern shores of the lake. Tverrvatnet gets its name from the fact that it is located "across", in a north-south direction, while most lakes in Rana are located in an east-west direction.
