Tjongsfjorden

Tjongsfjorden is a fjord in the municipality of Rødøy in Nordland county, Norway. The 17-kilometre long fjord begins just west of the Svartisen glacier and flows west and flows into the Rødøyfjorden, just east of the island of Rødøya. The mountain Blokktinden lies on the southern shore of the fjord. The villages of Tjong and Vågaholmen lie along the northern shore of the fjord. Norwegian County Road 17 runs along the inner part of the fjord.

Melfjorden

Melfjorden is a fjord and village in the municipality of Rødøy in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the Arctic Circle. The 33-kilometre long fjord from the village of Melfjorden in the east to its mouth in the Rødøyfjorden near the island of Rangsundøya. There are two fjord arms that branch off the main fjord: Nordfjorden flows to the north into the Saltfjellet–Svartisen National Park and Sørfjorden to the south past the villages of Sørfjorden and Kilboghavn.

Rødøy Church

Rødøy Church is a parish church in the municipality of Rødøy in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the island of Rødøya. The church is part of the Rødøy parish in the Nord-Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white, wooden, octagonal church was built in 1885 and it seats about 700 people. The church had a fire in 2009 after a lightning strike.

The church is part of the Rødøy indre parish in the Nord-Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The wooden church was built in 1962 and it seats about 280 people.

Rødøya

Rødøya is an island in the municipality of Rødøy in Nordland county, Norway. It lies just north of Gjerdøya and west of the mainland. The 8.5-square-kilometre island is located just west of the mouth of the Tjongsfjorden. There are ferry connections from the village of Rødøy to Jektvika on the mainland and to Gjerdøya. Rødøy Church is located in the village of Rødøy on the south side of the island.
