Børøy Bridge

Børøy Bridge is a bridge on Norwegian County Road 82 from the town of Stokmarknes on Hadseløya to the nearby island of Børøya in Nordland county, Norway. Together with Hadsel Bridge it connects the islands of Hadseløya and Langøya. The bridge is 336 metres long and its maximum clearing to the sea is 15 metres . Børøy Bridge was built in 1967, and was the first of the main bridges in the Vesterålen islands.

Hadsel Bridge

Hadsel Bridge is a cantilever road bridge on Norwegian County Road 82 that crosses the Langøysundet strait between the islands of Langøya and Børøya in Nordland county, Norway. Together with the Børøy Bridge it connects the island of Hadseløya and the town of Stokmarknes to the neighboring island of Langøya. Hadsel Bridge is 1,011 metres long, the main span is 150 metres, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 30 metres . The bridge has a total of 27 spans. Hadsel Bridge was opened in 1978.

Langøya

Langøya is the third largest island of Norway, with an area of 850.2 square kilometres . The island is a part of the Vesterålen archipelago and is situated in Nordland county. The island includes the municipalities of Bø and Øksnes as well as parts of the municipalities of Sortland and Hadsel. The large island of Hinnøya lies to the east (on the other side of the Sortlandssundet). The island of Andøya lies to the northeast. The small island of Skogsøya lies to the northwest.

Hadsel Church

Hadsel Church is a parish church in the municipality of Hadsel in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Hadsel, just east of the town of Stokmarknes on the island of Hadseløya. The church is part of the Hadsel parish in the Vesterålen deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The red, wooden, octagonal church building was constructed in 1824 and it seats about 500 people. The present church is the fourth church to stand on this site since the 1300s.

Eidsfjorden (Nordland)

Eidsfjorden is a fjord in the municipalities of Bø, Hadsel, and Sortland in Nordland county, Norway. The 25-kilometre long fjord cuts into the island of Langøya in the Vesterålen archipelago. It branches off of the main Vesterålsfjorden. The innermost part of the fjord is part of Sortland (it was transferred from Hadsel in 1963). The west coast of the outer part belongs to Bø municipality and the eastern coast of the outer part of the fjord belongs to Hadsel.
