Majavatnet
Majavatnet is a lake in the municipality of Grane in Nordland county, Norway. The 16.6-square-kilometre lake lies just west of Børgefjell National Park in southern Grane. The village of Majavatn lies on the eastern shore of the lake. The European route E06 highway and the Nordlandsbanen railway line both run along the eastern shore of the lake. In 2005 swimmer Phil Mitchell swam the entire length of the lake with his legs tied together.

Majavatn Church
Majavatn Church is a parish church in the municipality of Grane in Nordland county, Norway. It is located about 50 kilometres south of Trofors in the village of Majavatn, just alongside the large lake Majavatnet. The church is part of the Grane parish in the Indre Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The small building was constructed in 1915 as "Majavatn misjonshus" and in 1924 it was consecrated as a chapel.
