Brønnøy Church

Brønnøy Church is a parish church in the municipality of Brønnøy in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Brønnøysund. The church is part of the Brønnøy parish in the Sør-Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The stone church building was built in 1870 on the church site that has been used since the 1200s. There have been two church fires on this site: one in 1772, then another in 1866. The present church underwent an extensive renovation from 2006-2008.

Brønnøysund Bridge

Brønnøysund Bridge is a cantilevered road bridge near the town of Brønnøysund in Brønnøy municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The bridge was constructed in 1979 and it connects the small island of Torget with the mainland just south of Brønnøysund. The 550-metre long bridge has a maximum clearance to the sea of 30 metres . It consists of 20 spans, the longest of which is 110 metres . The bridge deck is made of pre-stressed concrete.

Velfjorden

Velfjorden is a fjord in Nordland county, Norway. The fjord is located in the municipalities of Brønnøy and Vevelstad. The 31-kilometre fjord stretches from northwest to southeast with many side-arms branching off the main fjord. Two of the main side branches are the Sørfjorden and Langfjorden. The Lomsdal-Visten National Park lies on the northeastern shore of the fjord.

Nøstvik Church

Nøstvik Church is a parish church in the municipality of Brønnøy in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the west side of Hommelstø in Velfjord. The church is part of the Velfjord og Tosen parish in the Sør-Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The red, wooden church was built in 1674 and it seats about 270 people.
