Norwegian Aquaculture Center
The Norwegian Aquaculture Center is a visitor and development center for modern fish farming in Norway. The center is located to Toft in Brønnøy and cooperate with several companies in fish farming and related businesses. The center started operating in 2008. The center runs a demonstration fish farm with access from land. The site includes a modern feeding platform, automated feeding system, control room, under water cameras, salmon cages, cod cages and a little aquarium.

Brønnøysund Bridge is a cantilevered road bridge near the town of Brønnøysund in Brønnøy municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The bridge was constructed in 1979 and it connects the small island of Torget with the mainland just south of Brønnøysund. The 550-metre long bridge has a maximum clearance to the sea of 30 metres . It consists of 20 spans, the longest of which is 110 metres . The bridge deck is made of pre-stressed concrete.

Brønnøy Church
Brønnøy Church is a parish church in the municipality of Brønnøy in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Brønnøysund. The church is part of the Brønnøy parish in the Sør-Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The stone church building was built in 1870 on the church site that has been used since the 1200s. There have been two church fires on this site: one in 1772, then another in 1866. The present church underwent an extensive renovation from 2006-2008.

Widerøe Flight 710, commonly known as the Torghatten Accident, was a controlled flight into terrain into the mountain of Torghatten in Brønnøy, Norway. The Widerøe-operated de Havilland Canada Dash 7 crashed on 6 May 1988 at 20:29:30 during approach to Brønnøysund Airport, Brønnøy. All thirty-six people on board LN-WFN were killed; the crash remains the deadliest accident of the Dash 7 and in Northern Norway.
