Strandlandet Church

Strandlandet Church is a parish church in the municipality of Vågan in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Straumnes on the northwestern part of the island of Austvågøya. The church is part of the Strandlandet parish in the Lofoten deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1938 to serve the eastern part of the old municipality of Gimsøy. It was designed by Sverre Pettersen and it seats about 250 people.

Strauman Church

Strauman Church is a parish church in the municipality of Vågan in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Sydalen on the island of Austvågøya. The church is part of the Gimsøy og Strauman parish in the Lofoten deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. It was formerly called Sydal school chapel before it was consecrated as a church in 1984. The church is located in the old school in Sydalen. It seats about 200 people.

Austvågøy

Austvågøy or Austvågøya is the northeasternmost of the larger islands in the Lofoten archipelago in Nordland county, Norway. It is located between the Vestfjorden and the Norwegian Sea. The island of Vestvågøya lies to the southwest and the large island of Hinnøya to the northeast. Most of the island is part of Vågan municipality, while the northeastern part belongs to Hadsel municipality. The main town on the island is Svolvær. Austvågøya is popular among mountain climbers.

Svinøy Bridge

Svinøy Bridge is a cantilever road bridge in the town of Svolvær in Nordland county, Norway. The bridge connects the small island of Svinøya with the "main island" of Austvågøya in the middle of the town of Svolvær. Svinøy Bridge is 359 metres long, the two main spans are 24 metres and 22.5 metres long, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 19 metres . The bridge was opened in 1964.
