Jotunheimvegen

Jotunheimvegen is a 45 kilometres long toll road through Jotunheimen in Oppland county in Norway. It goes from Skåbu to Slangen and the lakes Sandvatnet en Vinstri until the road RV 51. Jotunheimvegen is only open in the summer: from the end of June until it starts to snow, generally in October. Nearby is the Peer Gynt tourist road to Lillehammer. Nearby is also the national park Ormtjernkampen.

Olstappen

Olstappen is a lake in the municipalities of Sør-Fron and Nord-Fron in Oppland county, Norway. The Vinstra River, coming from the southwest, flows into the west side of Olstappen and flows out of Olstappen’s northeast corner, thence east into Gudbrandsdalslågen at the town of Vinstra. The Espa River flows into Olstappen from the south, making it a tributary of the Vinstra. Olstappen lies south of the town of Skåbu.
