Dombås Station

Dombås Station is a railway station located at Dombås in Dovre, Norway. The station is located on the Dovre Line as well as serving as the terminal station for the Rauma Line. The station is served by express trains on the Dovre Line and regional trains on the Rauma Line. The station was built in 1913 when the Dovre Line was extended to Dombås. The restaurant was taken over by Norsk Spisevognselskap on 15 November 1924.

Dombås

The village of  Dombås lies in the Dovre municipality and serves as an administrative center in the upper Gudbrandsdal, Norway. It lies at an important junction of roads: south leading to the current capital of Norway, Oslo, west via Lesja leading to Åndalsnes on the sea and north to the old capital, Trondheim.

Eiliv Austlid

Eiliv Austlid was a Norwegian farmer and army officer who played a pivotal role in assuring the escape of the Norwegian government during the German invasion in 1940. Killed in action, he was discredited during and following the war, but his record was restored as a result of a series of articles in the newspaper Dagningen. In 2010, he received posthumously the War Cross with Sword, Norway's highest military decoration for valor.

Dovre Station

Dovre Station is a railway station located at the village of Dovre Dovre, Norway. The station is located on Dovrebanen and served by one daily express trains in each direction to Oslo and Trondheim since 11 June 2006. There is no settlement at Hjerkinn, though there is an army base as well as the nearby Dovre National Park. The station was opened in 1913 when Dovrebanen was extended from Otta to Dombås.
