Samsjøen (Sør-Trøndelag)

Samsjøen is a lake on the border of the municipalities of Midtre Gauldal and Melhus in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. Most of the lake lies in Midtre Gauldal, about 12 kilometres north of the village of Singsås. The lake has a dam at the northwest end, which is used for hydroelectric power production. The water flows out of the lake and into the Lundesokna river which flows into the Gaula River.

Singsås Station

Singsås Station is a railway station located in the village of Singsås in the municipality of Midtre Gauldal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the Rørosbanen railway line. The station is served three times daily in each direction by the commuter rail service Trønderbanen between Røros and Trondheim. The service is operated by Norges Statsbaner.
