Åfjorden

The Åfjorden (or sometimes just Åfjord) is a fjord in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 15-kilometre long fjord lies inside the municipality of Åfjord. The municipal center of Åfjord, Årnes, lies at the head of the fjord. The Åfjorden flows into the Lauvøyfjorden and then out into the ocean.

Lauvøya, Sør-Trøndelag

Lauvøya is an island in the municipality of Åfjord in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located about 4 kilometres northeast of Lysøysundet, near the mouth of the Åfjorden. The island is connected to the mainland by a 1-kilometre long causeway. The island is located south of the islands of Linesøya and Stokkøya. There are about 25 inhabitants on the 2.5-square-kilometre island.

Linesøya

Linesøya is an island in the municipality of Åfjord in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It lies about 3 kilometres off the coast of the mainland of Åfjord, and 1 kilometre southwest of the island of Stokkøya. The 16.6-square-kilometre island also lies about 6.5 kilometres north of the smaller island of Lauvøya. The highest point on Linesøya is the 230-metre tall mountain Linesfjellet.

Stoksund Church

Stoksund Church is a parish church in the municipality of Åfjord in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church is located in the village of Revsnes in the Stoksund area of Åfjord. The church is located right at the south end of the Stokkøy Bridge from the mainland to the island of Stokkøya. The church is part of the Fosen deanery and the Diocese of Nidaros. It was built in 1825, and consecrated on 10 July 1825 by Bishop Peder Olivarius Bugge.
