Melhus Station

Melhus Station is a railway station in the village of Melhus in the municipality of Melhus in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The station is located on the Dovrebanen railway line, about 21 kilometres south of Trondheim Central Station (Trondheim S) and about 531 kilometres north of Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). The station sits at an elevation of 24 metres above sea level. It is served by local trains to Røros. The station was opened 1993 and is somewhat south of the old station in Melhus.

Leinstrand Church

Leinstrand Church is a parish church in the municipality of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Leinstrand area in the city of Trondheim. The church is part of the Leinstrand parish in the Heimdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The red wooden church was built in 1673 and was consecrated on 17 September 1673.

Kvål Station

Kvål Station is a railway station in the village of Kvål in the municipality of Melhus in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The station is located on the Dovrebanen railway line, about 27 kilometres south of Trondheim Central Station (Trondheim S) and about 525 kilometres north of Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). The station sits at an elevation of 50 metres above sea level. It is served by local trains to Røros. The station was opened 1864 as part of the Trondhjem-Størenbanen railway line.

Nordstern

Nordstern, often erroneously referred to as Neu Drontheim, was the Nazi plan for the creation of a new German metropolis in German-occupied Norway during World War II. It was planned to have a population of around 250,000-300,000 inhabitants. The building site of the city was located 15–20 km (&#160) southwest of the Norwegian city of Trondheim.
