Hjerkinn Station

Hjerkinn Station is a railway station located at Hjerkinn in Dovre, Norway. The station is located on Dovrebanen and served by four daily express trains each direction to Oslo and Trondheim. There is no settlement at Hjerkinn, though there is an army base as well as the nearby Dovre National Park. The station was opened in 1921 as part of Dovrebanen when it was extended from Dombås to Trondheim.

Hostovatnet

Hostovatnet is a lake on the border of the municipalities of Orkdal and Meldal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The village of Hoston is located on the northeastern shore of the 3.14-square-kilometre lake. The water leaves the lake primarily through the river Vorma which flows east to Vormstad where it joins the Orkla River. The lake Gangåsvatnet lies about 7 kilometres to the north. At the southern tip of Hostovatnet there is a short connection to the lake Ringavatnet.

Gagnåsvatnet

Gagnåsvatnet or Gangåsvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Orkdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 5.49-square-kilometre lake is located about 9 kilometres southwest of Orkanger and about 6 kilometres west of Fannrem in the Orkdalen valley. The water flows into the lake from the Songa river which flows out of the lake Våvatnet on the border of Orkdal and Snillfjord. The water leaves the lake through the Skjenaldelva river which ultimately flows into the Trondheimsfjord.

Orkdalen

Orkdalen or Orkladalen (English: the valley of Orkla) is a traditional Norwegian district in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. In the early Viking Age, before Harald Fairhair, Orkdalen was also a petty kingdom. The district encompasses the valley municipalities that surround the Orkla River. The municipalities in the district are Rennebu, Meldal, and Orkdal.

Moe Church

Moe Church is a parish church in the municipality of Orkdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church is located in Vormstad, about 15 kilometres south of Orkanger. The church is located in the Orkdal parish which is part of the Orkdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The original church was built in 1675 in nearby Svorkmo and that church existed until 1816, when it was moved to nearby Smedshaugen.
