Oppdal Church

Oppdal Church is a parish church in the municipality of Oppdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located at Vang, near Norwegian National Road 70, just west of the village of Oppdal. The church was built in 1651 and seats about 600 people. It was consecrated on 12 March 1651 by Bishop Erik Bredal. The church is sometimes called "Maret på Vang". The church is part of the parish of Oppdal in the Gauldal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros.

Oppdal Station

Oppdal Station is a railway station located in downtown Oppdal in the municipality of Oppdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It sits close to the European route E6 highway, just northwest of the mountain Allmannberget. The village of Oppdal is dominated by mountain tourism and skiing in winter. The station is located on the Dovre Line, and it is served by four daily express trains going in each direction to Oslo and Trondheim.

Mågålaupet

Mågålaupet (also written Magalaupet, Maglaupet og Måggålaupet) is a 100 meters long, zigzag-shaped gorge in the river Driva in Oppdal municipality in Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. The narrowest point is just 1.5 meters wide. The depth is estimated to 10 meters. The gorge consists of a series of large interconnected giant's kettles formed by the river Driva since the last ice age.

Nerskogen Chapel

Nerskogen Chapel is a parish church in the municipality of Rennebu in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Nerskogen. The church is part of the Rennebu parish in the Gauldal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The church was built in 1962 and it was consecrated on 2 September 1962 by Bishop Tord Godal. The church has about 13 services per year and the building holds about 110 people.

Drivdalen

Drivdalen is a valley located in the municipality of Oppdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The valley surrounds the river Driva. The European route E6 and the Dovrebanen railway line follow the river through much of the valley. The valley is the site of the "Old Kings' Road", Vårstigen, with Kongsvoll being one stop along the road.
