Rauland
Rauland is a former municipality in Telemark County, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Vest-Telemark. It was created in 1860 from the districts of Rauland in Vinje and Øyfjell in Lårdal as a border adjustment. The new municipality had a population of 988. On 1 January 1964, Rauland was incorporated into Vinje. Prior to the merger Rauland had a population of 1,656. Rauland is known for hiking, recreation and skiing. Vinjeåi
Vinjeåi is a river in the municipality Vinje in Telemark, Norway. The river is the outlet from the lake Vinjevatn, and joins the river Tokke at Åmot. Vinjeåi was regulated as part of the Tokke hydroelectric power development in the 1960s, and water from Vinjevatn is transferred through tunnel to the Tokke Hydroelectric Power Station.

Møsvatn
Møsvatn (or Møsvann) is twelfth largest lake in Norway with a surface area of 78.31 km². It lies primarily in Vinje municipality in Telemark county. The lake lies in the watershed of the Skien river and discharges into the Måna river. Along the shores of the lake, many traces of stone age settlers can be found. It is 919 meters above sea level and regulated to use for hydroelectric production. Some of Norway’s highest mountain farms (fjellgårder) can be found here as well.
