Mangas District

Mangas District is one of fifteen districts of the province Bolognesi in Peru. Manuel Burga has shown that in Mangas many of the social structures are pre-Hispanic and have only slowly been modified in the recent centuries. Much like imperial Cuzco, there are two districts Hana Barrio and Ura Barrio. The alcalde and regidor positions, positions of authority rotate from one side to the other each year.

Sarapuqucha (Quechua qucha lake, hispanicized spellings Sarapococha, Sarapo Cocha) is a lake in the Waywash mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Lima Region, Cajatambo Province, Copa District. It lies at the foot of the Sarapu, south west of it. Sarapuqucha is situated at a height of about 4,495 metres, about 0.63 km long and 0.28 km at its widest point.

The Cajatambo province, or Province of Cajatambo (Provincia de Cajatambo), is one of nine provinces in the Lima Region of Peru. It is bordered to the north by the Ancash Region, to the east by the Huánuco Region, to the south by the Oyón Province, and to the west by the Huaura Province.
