The Estádio Algarve is an association football stadium between Faro and Loulé, in Portugal. The home teams are Sporting Clube Farense, who play in the Portuguese Third Division and Louletano Desportos Clube, who play in the Portuguese Second Division South. The stadium also hosts the final match of the Algarve Cup, a major annual international tournament in women's football. The stadium has a capacity of 30,002, and was built for the Euro 2004 tournament.

Ria Formosa
The Ria Formosa lagoon, located in the Algarve, in southern Portugal, is a system of barrier islands that communicates with the sea through six inlets. Five of these inlets are natural and have mobility characteristics. The sixth is an artificial inlet that was opened with the purpose of allowing easier access to the port of Faro. Presently the main inlet of the system is the Faro-Olhão inlet, which was artificially opened.
